Elementary

Wednesday Evening Classes

Grades 1-5 will be using a new series called Discover! Faith in Life. This exciting series connects core faith concepts with daily life for students. Active learning strategies ensure children interact with the content in a veriety of ways to engage differing learning styles. An exciting feature, each student will receive their own copy of the St. Mary's Press children's Bible in place of a textbook. Children will also take home activity pages with an interactive family component to reinforce lesson themes and support family prayer time.

Sunday Family Program Classes

Grades 1-5 will be using a series called A Family of Faith. The series follows a four-year cyle which covers the four pillars of the Catholic faith. This program meets monthly with the expectation that parents will continue the teaching at home during the weeks when class does not meet. This series is especially suited to the Family Program because families can work on lessons together at home. Parents have the opportunity to select those activities which are most appropriate for their child's age/ability level.  Creative additions like the fridge page and car conversations tag encourage families to encounter Saints and lesson themes in daily life and to keep conversations about faith going.

Sunday Morning Preschool and Kindergarten Classes

For 3K, 4K, and K, we use Pflaum Gospel Weeklies, which connect with the liturgical seasons and readings for Mass on a given Sunday. Classes meet on Sundays during the 10:00am Mass from October through Palm Sunday. Our small class sizes allow for children to receive much personalzed instruction from their teacher.
