COVID-19 Sacramental Preparation Updates

The following information was sent out through Flocknote as a parish-wise email on 5-18-20.

Phase one of re-entry to churches:

We are excited to announce that, starting Pentecost Sunday, May 31, St. Thomas More will be holding a Communion Service with the distribution of the Blessed Sacrament each Sunday from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Attached below are the general guidelines for this prayer service. We will be providing more details in next week's Wednesday and Saturday flocknotes. This temporary measure will allow many of us to receive the gift of Jesus in the sacrament while keeping everyone, especially the most vulnerable, safe. Please read the directives carefully and look for more information coming next week.

  • Fr. Jack continues to be available at the church to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Saturdays from 2-4pm. The sacrament will be celebrated in the Parish Family Room (just off the church gathering space) to provide space from proper social distancing and privacy.
  • The Sacrifice of the Mass continues to be offered by our priests (Fr. Larry, Fr. John Francis, and Fr. Jack) for our intentions and the salvation of the world. Unfortunately, we are unable to gather to celebrate Mass publicly at this time.
