Thank you for being a member of St. Thomas More. Our parish is made up of all types of people from diverse backgrounds and degrees of discipleship. We want to walk with you wherever you are on your faith journey. You may be actively engaged in parish life. Maybe you haven’t been as engaged as you would like. Or perhaps you have drifted away from engagement since the pandemic or for another reason. Wherever you are in the practice of our faith, I am glad you have chosen St. Thomas More as your home parish.
Part of walking with each and every one of our members is inviting you to take another step in practicing your faith. Please prayerfully read this material. It is challenging. It is meant to be. We hope that it will invite you to take another step in following Jesus. We hope it is a call to reflect on how you engage with your parish. As engaged parishioners, I want to ensure we do everything possible to stay close to you and support your life in Christ. I also want to hear how we can better serve you. We recently completed a parish census to identify our parish members. Now, I want us to explore what it means to be a parish member. I don’t have the answer, but the covenant is a tool to help us explore what being a parish member means. I am holding listening sessions throughout the year to discuss what it means to be a member of St. Thomas More. I hope you can participate in one of these listening sessions. The sessions will last about an hour.
Please take a few minutes right now to complete the covenant by clicking on the button below.
I pray that this process brings us closer to the Lord and one another. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact the parish office or me.
