Jodell is from Home of the Hamburger in Seymour, which is close to the Appleton area. Her education consists of a master and a bachelor degree in social work and a technical degree in dental assisting. She also participates in continuing education to maintain her license as a certified advanced practice social worker. While Jodell was attending Marian University in Fond du Lac, she expanded her interest in theology. Jodell has served in many differing roles in academic education, including administration in a virtual school. She has a passion for innovation, person-centered focus (hope, healing, hospitality) and being outdoors. In her spare time, Jodell can be seen going on adventures with her dog, Sonya.
