Do you want to grow in community with others, have fun, or learn more about your faith? If so, then this is the place for you!
St. Thomas More youth and their friends are invited to participate in the Youth Ministry activities found below. Please contact Elizabeth Wiser at [email protected] or 920-739-7758 for more information.
We have a Teen Service Group that is open to all middle and high schoolers. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall (directly after high school faith formation) to do a service project together and enjoy each other's company. In October we baked cookies and made college care packages, in November we made thank-you cards for the parish staff members, in December we made house blessing kits for the parish families, and next we will be making cards for the seminarians. The projects are always a lot of fun, and we would love to have you join us for any and all of these evenings!
We also have a new group called CLIF, which stands for Catholic Leaders In Formation. This program is open to 11th and 12th graders who desire to climb higher in their faith, go deeper with Jesus in prayer, grow in community with others, and have fun! We meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 6:15 to 7:30 pm at St. Thomas More Parish. We will be covering topics such as embracing your identity, what it means to be a leader, and vocational discernment. We will also be learning different types of prayer, like Lectio Divina and the Liturgy of the Hours. The goal of this program is to encourage, affirm, and form young Catholic leaders while following the motto of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati: “Verso l’Alto!”
